Kevin Lee
About the Artist:
Based in Northern New Jersey, Kevin Lee is a photographer specializing in landscapes, architecture, and cityscapes. He began photographing as a hobbyist in 1982 with a Nikon FM2, but his artistic path took new direction in 2014 after a stroke caused right-side paralysis. Photography became both rehabilitation and renewed purpose. To accommodate his physical needs while maintaining creative flexibility, he transitioned to the Micro Four Thirds system.
Although he spent decades as a casual shooter, a turning point came in early 2024 when mentors encouraged him to move beyond simple snapshots toward intentional composition and storytelling. His progress was quickly recognized—in 2025 he earned multiple honors in local photography competitions, including a Jubilee Award, 2nd Place, and two Honorable Mentions.
A retired telecommunications professional, Kevin now pre-visualizes each image before pressing the shutter. Through resilience and passion, he continues discovering new perspectives—one photograph at a time.
