About the Artist: 

Eryn Martin is a brain injury survivor and former nurse based in New Hampshire. After experiencing a sudden subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2020, she began using creative practices as part of her recovery. What started as therapeutic coloring evolved into a broader exploration of art as a way to process change, identity, and healing.

Working intuitively, Martin often creates without a fixed plan, allowing meaning to emerge through the process. Her recent work incorporates materials such as broken glass, reflecting themes of fragmentation and reconstruction. Through her art, she explores how something that feels shattered can be reassembled into something new—different from before, but still meaningful, and often more beautiful.
